I was angry,
then sad.
Emotions flying,
hurt feelings,
and crying.
In anguish I left,
heart broken,
bereft.
But I didn't see,
your tears,
for me.
You care, it's true,
just as I care,
for you.
You whispered my name,
holding me tight,
love will never,
be the same,
again...
not quite...
everybody hurts sometimes!

This is lovely! Why is it that those we love the most can make us so angry?
ReplyDeleteLove is the only thing that goes deep enough to out core to touch the warmth of our lava flow. This is why it hurts so much like an open sore
